Jayson Tatum Breaks Silence After Devastating Injury During Knicks-celtics Series

Game 5 between the New York Knicks and the Boston Celtics is set for Wednesday night in Boston and it is a crucial matchup for both teams.
Of course, the Knicks enter Game 5 with a 3-1 lead in the series as they look to grab another victory on the road and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.
On the other side, the Celtics will try to extend the series at home and avoid suffering a disappointing playoff exit, ending their chances of repeating as champions.

Tatum suffered a torn right Achilles in Monday’s game in New York and he will now miss the remainder of this season and likely all of next season because of it.

This is a massive blow for Boston with them trailing 3-1 in the series as it looks as though the defending champions are headed toward a second-round exit.
Ahead of Game 5 on Wednesday, Tatum broke his silence since the injury as he took to Instagram to send out a message.
“Thankful for all the love and support,” Tatum posted on X with a picture of him giving a thumbs up after undergoing surgery for his torn Achilles.

It is great to see Tatum in good spirits after his devastating injury and he now has a long road of recovery, though he is expected to make a full recovery from the injury.

If that does not happen, which it hasn’t thus far in the series, the defending champions will see a different team win a championship this season.
