Really Need Advice About Kicked Out Of Family Members Home

Location: Delaware

So pretty much my dad and mom names on the house and property.

Mom moved out over 10 years ago cause they got divorced.

I moved in with dad about 2 years ago then he passed away.

Dad never got to make a will cause it was an unexpected death.

I’m next of kin only son.

There was never any rental agreement between my dad and I. He said I can always move in free of charge cause I’m his son.

Now mom is trying to come back and kick us out to sell the house and property.

She tried to evict us once last year but the judge said nothing he can do cause there was no rental agreement.

When they got divorced they were ordered by judge to sell both house and property and split it but they never did cause they wanted to keep it all for me.

She told us we would have to pay rent to her but she never gave us an amount to pay.

I paid the property tax bill this year by myself without her help.

I’m sure there’s more I can’t think of right now. I’m just so lost right now idk what to do
