Put Nanny Cam In My Great Grandmas Nursing Home Room To Make Sure The Nurses Are Taking Care Of Her
Edit: I just wanna say how thankful I am that you all have been so kind and helpful! I love my GG and it sucks I don’t live in the same state anymore, but knowing what you’ve told me will make such a huge impact on her care in the future! Even if she’s not here much longer, knowing how many people cared to help will help her mental health so much. Thank you all ❤️
Location: Mason, Ohio
So, my great grandma is 99 and to be completely honest I’m not sure how cognitive she is because I don’t live there anymore. I talk with my grandma and ask how my GG is doing, and 9/10 times she talks about how my GG complains that no one takes care of her and she doesn’t know who her nurse is etc.
There have been talks of getting some sort of nanny cam/secret cam to get to the bottom of this so we know if it’s a serious issue or if she’s just fading. Recently, my GG had a really bad fall, come to find out where she fell, she wasn’t even allowed to be. So even more reason to find out what’s going on. The only thing stopping my family is that they think it’s illegal to setup a secret camera to see what’s going on. Does anyone know if it’s actually illegal, and if it is can there be a work around? I’m not really comfortable giving out the name of the retirement home publicly.
