Order Cancelled. Refund Given. Order Unknowingly Shipped.

Hi! So I ordered a keyboard off of TikTok Shop for $111 and a few cents. Now I cancelled that day because I truly couldn’t justify spending that much on a keyboard I wasn’t even sure I was going to like.

Take into account that it hasn’t been updated as shipped, just as “order placed” when I cancelled. It had only been two or so hours when I cancelled the purchase. TikTok approved it as the item hadn’t shipped and I got my money back not even ten minutes later.

Everything is fine, the next day, my mom tells me I have a package. Mind you my birthday was the day I ordered the package and cancelled. When I open the package, there’s the keyboard. At first I thought my mom had gotten it for me as it was also in the Amazon cart that we share— I’d been wanting it.

I asked her. She didn’t. I was confused. I went to the TikTok shop to make sure the order was still cancelled- it was. I asked around, no one. I’m like “???” But whatever, slay.

So a few days pass, 5. And then I get a message on TikTok shop from the seller. They’re asking me to pay for another keyboard since they’d already shipped when I cancelled but it hadn’t been updated in the system. Mind you… it was on sale for $111 but it retails for $150. Yall I don’t have that money to just drop on a keyboard that I cancelled in the first place. And it’s NOT that they asked for it to be returned and offered a shipping label.

They just want me to spend the money there because— and I quote : “it affects my record and performance ????”
