Need Advice: First Employer Company Denying For Relieving Letter And Experience Letter

Card image cap

I worked for a company (placed from college) from june 2021 to November 2021 (internship period) and November 2021 to 12 December 2021 (full time employee).

I did not complete the exit formalities (I absconded/left by writing a mail in last of dec 2021 like I won't be join your company after today onwards).

This employment of one month is visible in my EPFO (Provident Fund) record.

After that, I joined company B as fresher again on mid jan, 2022, where I have 3.5+ years of continuous experience.

I am looking for job change now and I have not included the short job in my resume.

I have cleared the tr and mr for many companies but now HRs are asking about the first company relieving letter and experience letter. I said to them, I was facing some unavoidable family issues due to which I didn't do the proper exit and I don't have reliving letter.

They are saying we can't proceed further then.

I’m worried about background verification (BGV) due to the EPFO record showing that one month job.

It will happen in future for all bgv process for all companies.

I've sent the gentle mail to my first employer but now they sent me a mail again like we can't give you relieving letter and experience letter because of improper exit

Please guide me what steps should I take so that I can get relieving letter from the first employer otherwise it will spoil my career.
