My Gf’s Friend Accessed Her Email Without Consent And Leaked Our Intimate Video

My girlfriend (20F) and I (20M) are both in college. She used to be friends with this girl (“A”) for almost 2 years. They had a falling out in April this year and haven’t talked to each other since.
We just found out from a mutual acquaintance today that A somehow had access to my girlfriend’s email account and google photo, where she keeps a lot of her private videos, including those of our intimate moments. She apparently showed them to another girl (“B”), back when they were still friends, and B only recently told the mutual friend about this, who in turn told us.
We are really shaken by this, and my girlfriend has changed all of her passwords. We plan to contact the school’s support center first thing tomorrow to know who to reach out to. I just have a few questions before that, since neither of us had any experience with legal issues:
1) What legal options are available to us at this point? 2) What happens if we don’t have any hard evidence? There’s a chance B won’t consent to be a witness since she used to be good friends with A.
