Mom (50) Is Threatening To Put Me (14) And My Brother (20) In Jail

For context: Me and my brother live with our mom. My brother doesn't work, but my mom says he can't get a job till he finishes college. Me and my brother aren't the most respectful kids (especially when our mom is drunk) but we don't hit her/yell at her or anything. Both me and my brother ignore her when she's drunk (kids of the year I know!..) Also during the event that I'm going to talk about she was drunk.

So last night my mom started yelling (drunk) at my brother while I was in the bathroom getting ready for bed. I think she was yelling at him about going to the store for alcohol or something. I heard her hitting him, falling, then getting picked up. Next, my brother put her in her bed; it wasn't very gently, but he didn't throw her or anything either. After this I went to sleep.

In the morning, everything seemed fine until I started eating lunch when my mom randomly said "the next time your brother puts me on my bed, I'm putting him in jail.". I didn't really respond, since she's threatened this before, and hasn't gone through with it. Then, she yelled it to my brother. She also said that if she does get him arrested, she'll put me in juvie since I just watched him abuse her. I told her that she hit him first and that he didn't abuse her, she straight up told me "Well that's your story, I got a different one."

That's when I started getting worried, because if she calls police, she could just lie to them and tell them that he beat her up. She then started rambling about sending me to my dad's and that he'd make me into a house slave. She also said she raised all her kids, and she got only disrespect in return. Lastly, when she was done rambling, she threw my phone on the couch and told me to not touch it, but I snagged it behind her back once I finished cleaning.

Can she actually put me and my brother in jail?? She just apologized to me about it, but I don't trust her to not put me and my brother in jail when she's drunk.

Edit: Thank you everyone for the advice and the concern! Me and my brother (other than my mom wanting to call the police on us) are pretty safe. My mom can't really hurt my brother when she hits him and he mostly doesn't care, and I can fight back against her pretty well. I should've said that I may provoke her by talking back to her when she's drunk/getting into arguments with her. Some of this is my fault too, sorry for making everyone so concerned!
