Missing Wages, Please Help!

My checks have been missing money, I’ve been telling my employer for 2 weeks and they haven’t been added on. He keeps saying next pay cycle and they just haven’t been added on. Im missing money from may 14 6 hour shift. And on may 24 and 25 i worked both 8 hour shifts and my pay stub only says 7 hours for both days. My manager hasnt fixed it i work for $18 an hour so I’m missing about $144. It probably doesn’t matter but I’m a college student that lives alone. This money is something i dearly need right now as my car is also in the shop and i had to fix it for 4,600 with my rent and bills it almost was impossible yo keep up. This made my life very difficult these past few weeks as that money could’ve helped me dearly. Realistically if i sue him or go through small court claims. How would i? And how much could i sue him for? (location: kansas city missouri by the way) Edit: I’ve contacted my employer over text messages many times. With all the details. He usually just ignores me but whenever i have him on call and he cant ignore me he just says “we’re trying to figure out what happened.” Or “next pay cycle.” I have everything in writing of when i work the shifts because he asked me if i wanted to work those days and said that he’d manually put in the hours. IN WRITING.
