I Need Help With A Life Lease

Card image cap

Location: Pennsylvania (USA)

My brother had our family house deeded to him while my mom had dementia, she has since passed in 2019. I was not present when she signed the house over, he and my other two brothers snuck behind my back and did it. However, him and I signed a life lease agreement on this property, a few years back, and I live here, and have lived here since 2002, and maintain the property. He now is trying to sell it behind my back, hasn’t told me anything, I only found out through my other brother. We signed the contract at the local courthouse, with a woman from the recorder of deeds office. After we went there, we had to go to the tax assessment office, and the woman typed something in the computer, but she didn’t do it/save it properly. The day we signed the agreement the last thing the woman from the recorder of deeds said that to me said was that he can’t sell it now, as long as I am here. However, if they, apparently, did not record it properly, would there be a record in the state of Pennsylvania, anywhere? I don’t have a copy of it, but he does and his lawyer probably does. What rights do I have? Should I inform the people buying the property, as I know he probably hasn’t told them anything.
