Case For Harassment And Identity Theft

Location: MD My husband’s business partner has caused harassment and emotional distress. He has been invading and disrupting my married life by making calls to my husband on numerous occasions, including during our honeymoon, every major holiday, every weekend without fail (multiple times throughout the day), December 31 night, and even early morning 4:30 am when there is no business operations. He has also used my house address without my consent and provided it to his mistress (now GF) who in turn used it as an address proof for a government Id. They were not living in my house when she went and provided the proof of address to DMV in MD. In addition, they convinced my husband to lease out the property to them when we moved out of state. I was planning to hire a property management company to handle the leasing but they moved in without my knowledge. The lease was signed by my husband so unfortunately, I couldn’t take any action. I only learned about this when my cleaning crew informed me that the mistress trashed my place to an extent that they couldn’t perform the cleaning services. He is vindictive and tries to sabotage my overall life and wellbeing. He was completely aware of the fact that I just had a surgery and was advised complete bed rest and my husband was the only caregiver present. Despite of that knowledge, he went ahead and asked my husband to watch his son for 30-45 mins but in reality took 2-3 hours. As a result, I was left without any care for 3+ hours in the state of being bedridden from surgery. He showed up at our door right after we landed back home after our honeymoon. He said his wife kicked him out and needed a space to stay. This guy spends thousands of dollars to buy himself a first class international air ticket and stays in the most expensive hotels in major cities such as Trump hotel in NYC, Bellagio/MGM grand in Las Vegas but doesn’t have money to pay for a couple nights of stay and leave us alone?!! One day my husband and I pretended that I’m in the hospital and undergoing surgery and hence my husband cannot attend to business matters. He made sure that he escalated some matters and asked my husband to get back to work. He also called my husband and asked him to start working immediately after I got home from the hospital delivering my baby. He was aware that my husband is the only caregiver and yet every time he is being disruptive, intrusive and most importantly insensitive. Is there something I can do in the form of a legal action against this guy? My husband says he has to comply as he is the business partner and the original founder of the company. Not sure what his % of stake is. But bottom line is that my husband seems to be helpless against him. Please share your insights.
