I’m Getting Terminated

Location: Kansas

As the title states I’m getting terminated. A co-worker of mine works closely to the managers and told me I’m getting terminated tomorrow. What are my rights? I’m trying to get in contact with an employment attorney to see if I have a case. They are trying to fire me over something I had no control over. My co-workers know I have dedicated my life to my job for the past 3 years and agree the reason for my termination is BS. As a supervisor my job is to report any incidents that happen while on duty. The day of the incident I reported to my manager exactly what happened but apparently because I didn’t write it down I’m being terminated. What do you guys recommend I do? Should I go into work and quit or should I let them terminate me? Are they required to give me a termination letter? I plan to record my conversation with them since Kansas is a 1party consent state. I sought legal help but it’s going to take them 3 days before they can get to me and I need to know soon before I clock into work later today. Any employment attorney that can help answer my questions? Much appreciated thank you!!
