I Changed My Job At An Amusement Park But My Hourly Pay Rate Has Dramatically Dropped Down Without Notice

Hello guys. I have been at this amusement park for almost six years. I have started in the rides department where back in 2019, it only paid $8 an hour (as a team member) which is near the state mínimum pay that being $7.25. Crazy right? The only positive side about it is that the company paid weekly and you get good hours. Long story short, after the COVID pandemic, there was some sort of raise and the pay was raised to $13 an hour and it still remains to this day. At one point back a year ago, i was raised to only $14 an hour after my promotion. It was all going great until at one point, I got burnt out that I decided to leave rides and do something different. To say that my department transfer was a rough transition would be a massive understatement. I wasn’t aware ahead of time that if I were to change departments, my pay rate would be affected. I’ve gone from $14 an hour to $10 (since that was the base pay). I was livid and devastated. As much as I don’t know how to address the issue, I have spoken to a few peers (who one of them happens to be previous employer) gave me some advice and how this is something I should bring up to HR but I still can’t wrap my head around it because I was never informed of this change. I’m currently only three weeks into this new job yet I was told that at one point my pay would be raised to $13 an hour (that being the regular pay for team members) once I get comfortable with my new job, but to this day I kept getting swept under the rug and continue to suffer. What should I do?
