Help With Custody Case/family Law Help
location: florida hello! mother(20 years old) of 1 (13 month old) I am looking to gain fully custody of my son, the father was in the picture up until sept 19th and has fled the state (florida) I am looking for some advice on how I can do everything without a lawyer because they are very expensive and I don’t have the money to spend it like that. I have looked into legal aid and have a consult monday but I want to know what else i can do if they don’t take the case. father and I were never married and he has another child with another woman (2yrs old) and currently have that custody battle happening. I have called the clerk of courts and printed all of the papers work I need but I don’t want to fill it out and I basically did “nothing”. I have been the sole provider even while living with the father because he was in and out of jobs and never keeping consistent income. if anyone has ANY advice I will take. please help me.
