Family Threatening To Sue If I Move Out Before Our Lease Is Up

Forgive me if I used the wrong flair. Location: Colorado. My boyfriend and I have been planning to move in together for a while now, and we want to do so in October. I told my family today and was told that they would sue me for thousands of dollars if I did. Around four thousand or even more. My brother also told me that I would “fucking pay” for moving out. I read the lease and it says that if a resident intends to move out they have to pay one-two months of rent depending on the circumstances in which they leave, but can I even do that since multiple people are on the lease? They would be suing me for rent money if that wasn’t clear. I’m just not sure what my options are and I would really appreciate any guidance.
Edit: Yes, I am on the lease here. I apologize for not making that clear and not answering right away. I was sleeping so I wasn’t able to respond to everyone’s questions immediately. I am 22 years old. I signed the lease with my own hands.
Edit 2: I signed the lease on April 14th, 2025, and the lease ends on April 13th, 2026. Boyfriend (27M) and I (22F) want to move into a place in October, but a set date has not been finalized yet as all the places we have reached out to have said they do not know if they’ll have any properties available in October yet.
