A Surgeon Performed A Procedure Not Discussed, Any Advice?

Hellooo, I had a rhinoplasty in Connecticut to fix my nose deviation where the surgeon also performed an alarplasty (an additional procedure where the alars of the nostrils are cut to make the base smaller) this procedure was not discussed with me and also not on the list of procedures he was going to do at the top of the document, I only realized after seeing my uneven nostrils and reading the explanatory section in the operative report.
My nose was already very small and my nostrils were super small, now theyre so much smaller and also uneven, he cut more from one side than the other. My nose is also worse than before and the deviation is much more pronounced so breathing is much more difficult. I look like a stroke pt, my face is so uneven.
I know this constitutes battery but I just don't know how to proceed because I called a medical malpractice attorney in the area but they said they only deal with extreme life altering cases and a nose job is not a case they would take... I don't know if to submit the paperwork to the medical board or to just send a complaint directly to the surgeon asking for a partial refund, I also want to write a review online because people should be aware. I'm just worried about how to proceed with the order of these things for for me not to get in trouble and/or sued by the surgeon.. any advice? thank you so much, I really appreciate any feedback!
