[co] Renters Rights- Upstairs Neighbors Dropping Cigarette Butts And Matches On My Patio...
... I have been documenting and reporting it to my landlord over weeks. My upstairs neighbor pushes his lit bitts and matches through the slats in the floor of his balcony onto mine. It has burned multiple holes in my patio furniture and honestly has made the space unusable and unpeaceful for us. I have lived here for two year of quiet enjoyment before this.
Recently during one of my most recent reports (in person, through the security line, and in writing) I mentioned that I was concerned that this poses a fire hazard and asked what they were doing other than just asking nicely for it to stop? I said I was worried I would have to contact the non emergency fire line if it continues because the burns from butts and matches are numerous and I am concerned this is attempted arson.
I just got a citation for having furniture on my patio. I checked my lease, this is not against my lease i signed. Which is so frustrating that I have to get rid of my furniture because my neighbor cant be half decent.
Looking for advice, recommendations, or general guidance.
