Who Do I Speak To!? Where Do I Go?!?!
Location: Tennessee(Knox county)
My car was towed after being hit by a drunk driver last month, and the lot it arrived at suddenly has no recount for what happened to my personal belongings nor the entire vehicle. the lot manager and dispatcher then said it was crushed and they previously sent a letter out notifying me. I checked and nobody has the files to back this claim up: the dep of revenue, ties, or any city systems. Twice today the lot manager hung up in my face and refused to account for, or return my belongings. And to add insult to injury the non-emergency was extremely uncooperative; One helpline employee literally laughed in my face, hysterically because she called and talked to the lot's employees herself with me on hold, and had come to the conclusion id been causing trouble and took her word over mine. Then flat out *refused* to make my stolen or missing vehicle report and refused to give me an actual reason! even though i had a paper trail and proof that it was 'missing', not sold like the employees told her. Can i get some help here please??? all this is driving me up a wall. I have recordings and documents proving all of this, but the question is who do i speak to for compensation, recovery, anything???
