Ryanair has announced a new partnership with Skyscanner, enabling the metasearch platform to provide its users with direct access to Ryanair’s low-fare flights and full transparency across fares and ancillary products.
The agreement allows Skyscanner customers to book Ryanair’s network of 235+ destinations with greater confidence and convenience, as part of Skyscanner’s dynamic travel offerings.
Ryanair’s CMO, Dara Brady, said: “We are pleased to announce our partnership agreement with Skyscanner – through this new agreement, Skyscanner customers will be able to search for Ryanair’s low-fare flights with the guarantee of full price transparency. The partnership reflects Ryanair’s strategy of making its low fares and ancillary services more widely accessible through trusted distribution channels, while ensuring transparency in pricing for consumers.
For Skyscanner, the collaboration supports its mission of simplifying trip planning by offering a broad range of travel options at competitive prices.
Catriona King, VP of Commercial, Skyscanner, said: “We aim to give our travellers access to the best prices and widest choice, to take the hassle out of trip planning. Partnering with Ryanair will give our millions of travellers direct access to its vast route network for further travel inspiration and help them explore exciting destinations.”
The partnership follows a series of distribution deals Ryanair has made with other online travel platforms, underscoring a growing trend toward direct partnerships between airlines and metasearch engines. Such agreements not only enhance customer choice and transparency, but also streamline access to low-cost carriers’ expanding route networks.
As a result of the partnership, Skyscanner users will benefit from Ryanair’s low fares, extensive European and international coverage, and ancillary options, reinforcing both companies’ positions as leaders in affordable and accessible travel.
