PM Hotel Group has announced the opening of RESET Hotel, a new design-forward retreat located in Twentynine Palms, minutes from Joshua Tree National Park. As the first new-build hotel in the region in 15 years, RESET marks the latest addition to PM Hotel Group’s lifestyle and unconventional hospitality division, Modus Hotels.

Situated on 180 acres, RESET Hotel features 65 guestrooms designed with desert-inspired interiors by Gry Space, incorporating earthy tones, private patios, soaking tubs, sustainable linens, and curated amenities such as Flamingo Estate bath products and Fellow pour-over coffee. The property emphasizes both relaxation and connection to the natural surroundings, aligning with the rising demand for experiential travel in national park destinations.

Guests can enjoy a range of wellness-focused amenities, including a saltwater pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, cold plunge, yoga classes, and expansive communal areas for co-working and stargazing. More than 100 acres of preserved desert land surround the property, featuring art installations and self-guided trails.

Culinary offerings and community connection

RESET will introduce Split Rock Bistro in early 2026, offering all-day dining with a focus on seasonal and locally inspired cuisine. The venue will complement the property’s community-centered ethos, which emphasizes authentic connections to the landscapes and culture of Joshua Tree.

“RESET Hotel embodies our vision for experiential travel, where sustainable design meets authentic connection to our country’s most inspiring landscapes,” said Paul Sacco, Chief Growth and Development Officer at PM Hotel Group. “From national parks to emerging destinations, PM Hotel Group is operating experiential lifestyle hotels coast to coast. With Reset, Ben Uyeda, Adam Wininger, Shannon Ching and Sumeet Parekh have created a model for community-focused hospitality that celebrates the beauty and accessibility of America’s outdoors.”

The debut highlights PM Hotel Group’s strategy of managing design-led, experiential hotels in emerging markets, strengthening its portfolio of properties that combine sustainability with distinctive guest experiences.
