British Airways is strengthening its connectivity between the Middle East and the UK with a series of additional flights scheduled to begin in October 2025 and continue into summer 2026. The expanded network reflects growing demand for travel from the region, offering greater flexibility for both business and leisure passengers.

From 27 October 2025, the airline will introduce a daily service from Bahrain to London Heathrow, more than doubling its current frequency. This expansion will add over 9,000 seats annually on the route, providing passengers with more options for travel to the UK and onward connections across Europe, North America, and beyond.

In Saudi Arabia, British Airways will increase flights from Riyadh to 12 per week during the winter 2025 season, before moving to 14 weekly flights in summer 2026. Services from Jeddah will also rise from four to five flights per week starting in summer 2026, further enhancing capacity on key Saudi routes.

Meanwhile, British Airways is set to operate a daily Abu Dhabi–London Heathrow service beginning in winter 2025. The new schedule provides more flexibility for travellers from the UAE capital, complementing the airline’s wider Middle East offering.

The enhanced frequencies have been strategically aligned with peak demand periods and designed to ensure seamless connectivity through London Heathrow, where British Airways operates flights to more than 200 global destinations.

For the travel trade, the increase in capacity offers new opportunities to serve corporate clients, VFR (visiting friends and relatives) passengers, and leisure travellers seeking improved access to the UK and onward connections worldwide.
