PSG shortlist Valencia’s Cristhian Mosquera and Club Brugge’s Joel Ordóñez
According to a report from Foot Mercato, Paris Saint-Germain are looking to strengthen their options in defence over the summer, and have shortlisted Club Brugge’s Joel Ordóñez (21) and Valencia’s Cristhian Mosquera (20).
PSG are thought to be keen to bolster their centre-back choices with the club reportedly open to selling captain Marquinhos this summer, while Presnel Kimpembe and Lucas Beraldo are unlikely to step into the void left by the former AS Roma man.
Kimpembe has struggled with injuries this season and has only made five appearances across all competitions. Beraldo is valued by Luis Enrique, has never looked as if he will perform a bigger role than as a useful back-up option.
With this in mind, PSG could turn to the market. Foot Mercato writes that Ordóñez, an international teammate of Willian Pacho, could be plucked from Belgium for €25-30 million, while Valencia might be willing to part with their player so that they can reinvest this summer.
