Matty Maggiacomo and bestselling author and podcast host Mel Robbins team up for a special Peloton walk celebrating movement, mindset and mental health

Peloton Members tuning in for Matty Maggiacomo’s popular “Walk & Talk” class were joined by Mel Robbins, the award-winning host of The Mel Robbins Podcast and #1 New York Times bestselling author. The surprise guest appearance was part of a special Mental Health Awareness Month activation, spotlighting the powerful mental benefits of walking.

Held live at Peloton Studios New York, the 30-minute class brought together Maggiacomo’s signature blend of movement and chatting with Robbins’ candid insights on clarity, creativity and personal growth. Known for her advice on mindset and behavior change, Robbins spoke to the importance of walking as a daily ritual.

“My daily walks are non-negotiable,” Robbins shared. “It’s one of the most powerful tools I’ve found to change how I feel and find instant clarity. Walking boosts your mood, calms your nervous system and helps you make sense of what’s going on around you.”

As Robbins and Maggiacomo walked and talked, they covered everything from pop culture takes to life lessons drawn from Robbins’ most recent bestseller, The Let Them Theory.

“Walking and talking with Mel felt like catching up with a lifelong friend,” Maggiacomo said. “We did all of my favorite things—moved our bodies, swapped life lessons, gossiped about pop culture and truly connected. What I hope everyone takes away from this moment with Mel is that fitness—especially walking—isn’t just essential to living a healthy life; it can also be joyful, social and fun.”
