Club Pilates Wraps Record-breaking Challenge With First Experiential Event

Club Pilates is ending its biggest Pilates Body Challenge yet with a Newport Beach event and upcoming plans for a retro ’80s Week to keep the momentum going

Club Pilates is capping off its most successful challenge to date with its first large-scale experiential event, deepening engagement among its members and instructors as the boutique fitness competition heats up.

The Pilates Body Challenge, designed to inspire members to “move better, feel better and live better,” runs from June 1 through August 31 and drew more than 136,000 participants this year, the highest turnout in the program’s history.

“The Pilates Body Challenge is so much more than a fitness program—it’s a celebration of strength, connection and the community that makes Club Pilates so special,” Club Pilates president Tianna Strateman said.

To mark the popular challenge, Club Pilates is hosting its Pilates Body Celebration on August 24 at the Pendry Newport Beach. The full-day event honors top instructors and standout members, where participants can enjoy a signature class led by master instructors, a social hour and interactive brand moments, including Club Pilates–branded coconuts, a gifting station, permanent jewelry and an affirmation wall where guests share personal milestones from the challenge.

“Wrapping it up with our first-ever experiential event allows us to recognize our incredible members and instructors in a memorable way, while also setting the tone for what’s ahead and continuing to engage our community in fresh, inspiring ways,” Strateman said.

While the Pilates Body Celebration comes to a close, Club Pilates is already lining up its next nationwide activation: ’80s Week. The fall program will feature retro-inspired classes, an 80s-style roller rink event in Los Angeles and a throwback dinner experience, with studios nationwide encouraged to lean into the theme.
