Resigned As An Osha Whistblower

Location: Virginia Employer: Municipality
I was a senior manager (in good standing) that resigned last week.
This winter, one of my direct reports caused an accident and the Director of my department manipulated the report to get my direct report fired. I filed an internal ethics complaint and the Director started to harrass me privately after someone in city leadership leaked to him about the confidential ethics complaint.
We then had a second similar accident and the harassment intensified.
Eventually, I went to OSHA (VOSH in Virginia) for a whistleblower claim. They first had me file a separate Safety Complaint.
We are in month 4 of the safety investigation and leadership has been lying, scapegoating me, and covering things up. It has been discovered that my workers and I were misclassified as Admin employees (we do physical labor) and the safety coverups go back years, likely due to this issue.
The municipality self insures.
After OSHA walked through the door, the harassment changed and became coordinated with more leadership, which including sidelining, undermining me, etc.
Three weeks ago, they framed me on a project and falsified my involvement. I felt no choice to resign due to the treatment.
What should I do next?
