Received Letters From An Attorney About A Ticket But I Was Home And So Was My Car?

I received letter from 2 attorney offices in Lumberton, NC saying they saw I got a ticket for expired tag/registration at 9:02pm but I was home making a cheesecake and my black Honda civic was at my house. Found the ticket on the clerk of courts website and it has all my info, cars info but in the officers comments (highway patrol) it says white vehicle, HS female. I’m assuming the HS stands for Hispanic? I’m as white as snow and my car definitely isn’t white… what do I do? It says my court date is January 14th but I never received a ticket and my tags don’t expire till March 2026. I’ve never even been in Lumberton…

I’ve never received a ticket in general so I’m not sure what to do.

UPDATE:

After speaking with 5 different people in Roberson county who couldn’t help me I called my local highway patrol office and they were able to get a hold of the Trooper, he called and told me he fat fingered the key and it was suppose to be 9775 not 9975 and was headed to the courthouse to fix it now.
