Old Employer Waited Over A Month To Pay My Last Paycheck (late By 31 Days)- They Filed Bankruptcy (ch 11)

Location: Minnesota
I worked at an employer for about a year, and they weren’t doing so well financially (we had been receiving notices for the length of my employment for unpaid bills, vendors weren’t getting paid, our doors were temporarily chained for unpaid rent- they got sued for 6 months of nonpayment, etc). I turned in a two weeks August 18th and they opted to terminate me immediately instead. I heard no details from them regarding final pay, insurance, etc even with me calling and emailing until I sent a request for final payment on 8/29 (what should have been my final paycheck) and heard back 8/30 saying I would receive final payment on the next cycle 9/13. I was in talks with MN labor at this time trying to get any funds I could. 9/13 comes and goes and still nothing. I send the letter requesting payment 9/17 and finally receive it 9/18. MN department of labor said I should just let it go since I probably would never see them actually pay the penalties which I agree with. However, they have officially filed bankruptcy (ch 11). I received a letter that I’ve been identified as someone that they may owe money to, but I’m not sure if those penalties qualify or not?
My math might be wrong in title for how many days “late” it’s considered, but I know for sure at least 2 weeks.
