My Roof Got Damaged, Hoa Delays To Fix It, And It's About To Collapse

My roof was damaged at the end of August, and water started leaking through it, destroying parts of my ceiling and walls. I live in a townhouse, and the HOA is responsible for roof repairs. They sent someone to put a tarp over it to stop the water, but it's still leaking. This issue also affects the two other houses that share the same roof with me. My neighbors and I have complained multiple times, but the HOA keeps saying there's nothing they can do. They told us the earliest roof repair date is in November. Today, I called the roofing company that did the previous work to ask if they could seal the tarp. They told me it would cost about $3,000 to do a proper temporary fix, but the HOA refused to pay for it, so the roofers can't proceed. The roofer even warned me that the roof is close to collapsing and suggested that I take my family to a hotel and file a lawsuit against the HOA. I got mad because the homeowners association has been lying to me, rejecting the roofer's request, and putting everyone's safety at risk
