My Uncle Passed Away And His Ex Girlfriend Is Taking His Body Against His Last Unwritten Wishes

My uncle passed away here in Location: Bakersfield, Kern county of California two weeks ago on a friday. That's the city I live too. Apparently his children who doesn't really mess with my Uncle gave all power to his ex girlfriend and she took all his things, money and most importantly his body. She's trying to bury him in another city out of Kern county on the 18th of October. My uncle who was a felon most of his life who thankfully changed his life around would tell me and my mom who is his only sister by his mom that and I quote "It I did die I want to be buried with my mom" and how much he hated how he was in prison when she died. We had already started our family wishes by burying the person he called Dad and his blood mom who's already buried together, but this lady his ex is fighting the entire family by doing this and doing a home going in another city with burial outside of Bakersfield. She just told me today she can give me some of his ashes to bury with his mom, but I'm like damn that. In my eyes that's dang near dismemberment and I refuse to do that to my uncle. I wasn't there in his final moments and it eats me. Please is there anything I can do? Please any help would do so much. What can I do?
