My Sister Declared My Uncle Incompetent And Is Draining His Assets (oh)

Location: Ohio

I have an uncle who has made his wealth in real estate (in Ohio). He was diagnosed with Alzheimer's around April. My sister who works for the family business, is trying to remove him from the business (he is 55% owner), by making him look worse. For example, she has changed his email passwords and logins for various accounts, changed his internet and phone provider, etc... she was able to declare him incompetent and froze his accounts this past week.

While his memory isn't what it used to be, he is adamant that he wants his will respected; for the family to get his wealth as he intended. He calls me almost daily expressing concern that he doesn't want my sister involved in his affairs, or receiving any inheritence. From time to time, he also sends me hard copy paperwork of his financials (some with hand written notes by him), and I know my sister was not named as a beneficiary to the accounts. I also have many voice mails of my uncle saying this.

At my uncles urging, I contacted his attorney, who told me that my sister is the only person authorized to deal with his office. I don't understand how my uncles attorney is beneficial to him, if they are not protecting him, or his assets.

What recourse is there?
