My Father Told Me His Divorce Attorney Hasn’t Spoken To Him In 2 Years

Location: Pennsylvania

My Father and mother have been divorcing since 2015, I finally spoke between the two and they have agreed to terms. My mother told me that her attorney can never get in contact with my father’s and my father dropped the bomb that he hasn’t spoken to his attorney in 2 years. I went through his email and his last correspondence is when she was at her old firm 2 years ago. She last sent him a letter in 6/9/2025 about my mother’s terms which he agreed to. She told my father she would have the paperwork drawn up to sign and to finalize in 2-3 weeks. It’s now almost December and he’s called her new firm multiple times and have received no response.

On Saturday November 22 after my father tried to call in the beginning on November to contact the firm to get a response I told my dad that since he doesn’t have her email or firm number that we’ll have to send a new client contact form to get a response. We sent one and today I went onto his email and say that his divorce attorneys new firm sent him an email. It was an invoice, sent November 24th but still no response? I keep telling my dad to get another attorney as my mother’s attorney is also annoyed but this invoice is billed 0.2 for a singular email in January?

I feel like he needs a new attorney or that it’s retaliatory, just need some advice on if this is normal? His attorney only sends correspondence through letters.
