My Employer Paid Me Under Minimum Wage.

Location: Alabama
So after months of irregular work bs (boss saying i NEED to text back when on a job, from my personal phone without issuing a work phone; amongst many other things) and basically telling us to ignore osha guidelines to get work done, the tipping point was receiving my pay stub. I was cleaning windows for said company and so our work is commission based. I had a figure of $700 base pay and the gross pay was around $640. After going to my boss and telling him, his response was “go talk to the manager, we’ll figure it out at some point”. This was after working 47 hours the previous week. So ~13.60/hour. Technically, if our commission doesn’t meet $18/hour, they’re supposed to bump it up to that. I told him I work too hard, get up too early, and work too long of days for $13.60/hour. His response was basically “that sucks for you”. I walked out and texted him that I’ll bring my company issued shirts up some time in the next few days but I’m leaving. He quickly “found” the missing money (which I’ve yet to receive) and asked if I could work the next day. I told him no. He told me okay well I’m gonna have to pay you minimum for this week since there was no notice per the handbook. I told him that’s fine. I think, I could be wrong, that per the handbook, minimum for the company is $14/hour. Although if he paid me $7.25, I wouldn’t fight it and just move on.
Cut to this week. I receive my paystub: $194.32 on 33 hours and 42 minutes, or $5.75 an hour. So I’ve been shorted twice in a row with who knows how many times before.
I need to know what are the next steps I can/should take, and if there are next steps to take at all.
