Married Officially But Husband Hides It From Banks And Investment Firms, Her Rights In The Future?

Location: New Mexico. But before they lived in California. So, someone I know started dating a divorced man in 2022, they started to live together pretty soon and still together and live together but moved to NM last year. There is a big age gap and socioeconomic too. I know woman wanted some type of security for the future. She is in a graduate school for now. I know they got married officially in US last year. But in a different state. Small civil ceremony.
But they did not tell it to anyone, so for all friends and even for his kids (18 yo) they are still just BF and GF. No prenup.
He bought a house 2 months after the marriage. It was a mortgage but he told his bank etc he is single. He recently paid the mortgage off. He also has some retirement accounts, brokerage, 401k, etc.
It is unclear who is a beneficiaries, but maybe only his adult kids. He also doesn’t tell his investment advisors about the marriage. So, again, in all documents he is a single. In the case of his death in the future and if he decides to do not put his official wife in a will or add her as a beneficiary, will she have any rights? Title of the house also only in his name. No trust account as for now. They both are US citizens if it is important. Thanks.
