Is This Any Type Of Legal Case I Should Pursue?

Location: Johnson County, IA - I was recently arrested for an OWI and after being released I was given my personal items back. All of my possessions were accounted for except there was a blood sample that was not my own inside the bags of my belongings. The blood sample was labeled with some random woman’s name and was clearly from a hospital. I was at the hospital that night for an independent blood test so I’m assuming that’s where it came from but I have no idea who or why or how it ended up in my belongings. Additionally the blood sample was not mentioned at all on the form that detailed all the items taken from me before booking. It included my clothes and shoes and jewelry but says nothing about a random blood sample? I’ve been told I should pursue some legal recourse as that is potentially a lawsuit but 1.) I don’t know if there is any case there 2.) I don’t know if there are cameras in hospitals or how that would be investigated and i’m concerned if I fight they will fight harder and I’m not exactly confident in the whole “police facing accountability” thing. Any advice or knowledge of what is reasonable or likely?
