I Received A “double Parking” Ticket For Making A Wrong Turn.

Card image cap

Location: Taylor Michigan, which the police there are specifically known for pulling anyone over for the slightest thing. For example, pulling people over for going 1 mph over the speed limit when exiting the free way, constantly camping the top of highway hills to catch people slightly over the limit due to accelerating for the incline, and any other tiny thing you can imagine while ignoring actual problems in the city. Today I had to go to the store to get some items for work. I made a right turn as I have a million times and immediately got pulled over. I was given a ticket for double parking, which was not the cause of the ticket. There is construction in that area as there has been on and off for the past few years. I made a right turn going north bound after missing the most awkwardly placed no turn sign. The bottom half of the ticket with my alternative options for the ticket are varying levels of little to no legibility on them. Should I bite the proverbial bullet and waste $165 on the ticket? Or should I point out the flaws in the situation to get it dropped?
