Friend Is Scared She Committed A Hit And Run
Location: Dallas A friend rear ended someone when about to turn onto the highway. According to her the damage wasn’t bad, left a white paint streak on the other persons rear bumper. The car she hit pulled into the median and my friend didn’t feel safe parking in that area because of other cars. She told them let’s pull over into this mall that was directly in front of them (a safer location with less car traffic) the other person told them “no, stay here, we’re not going anywhere” my friend then said this is a dangerous spot to park then pulled off to where the mall is. The other people made no verbal confirmation to her that they were going to follow. My friend was parked there didn’t see them follow waited 10 minutes before leaving and then headed to work after waiting. She does not have insurance and had no intention of fleeing the scene (just wanted to get to a safer place). She has no idea if the people got a picture of her plate. What should she do in this situation?
