She Has the Audacity to Show Up at Our House. Advice Needed Please

TL;DR: SIL hired a PI to stalk my daughter and I AGAIN and showed up at our house. Please help.

I made a post a few weeks ago about my former in-laws, including my former sister in-law. The post was about how my sister in-law, whom we will now name Linny, hired a private investigator and had put up trail cameras on my property, my neighbors private property, in addition to a vacant strip of easement in front of our homes.

Yesterday my daughter and I had returned from a walk when someone started ringing the doorbell and aggressively banging on our storm door. I looked out of the kitchen window and didn’t recognize the car. After taking a closer look, I saw my former sister in law standing at the car, there was a driver, plus the person aggressively banging on our door. I was completely thrown off guard as I didn’t anticipate her to just show up at our house. She lives halfway across the country and has zero ties to where we are living. She intentionally came to our house looking for my daughter.

I don’t recall how much I individually discussed Linny in my previous post, but for a recap, my daughter never had much of a relationship with Linny, as my daughter was very young and the last time she saw Linny, was in 2019 and it was a forced visitation, which my daughter refused to go with my in-laws and Linny of course had to be there as well since she feel entitled to my daughter.

My daughter was petrified and she went back into my bedroom and locked the door. I immediately texted my parent’s because they live two miles from me and I called 911.

I think I recognized the other woman who was with Linny, the one pounding on our storm door. I recorded the event from my kitchen window and waited for the police to arrive. The banging and repeated ringing the doorbell was the type of ringing/banging one would do in the case of an emergency. Completely unnecessary but on point as this is their M.O. This continued for 7 minutes. They eventually gave up and left, of course right before the local police arrived.

I told the officer the situation, gave him the sordid history of their behavior and tried to make as much sense as possible, but I was shaking, on the verge of crying due to this bringing back tumultuous memories from past events.

My parent’s arrived shortly after and was talking to the officer and getting him up to speed with the situation.

My daughter and I packed some clothes and what we needed to stay with my parent’s for a few nights or until we have an idea of what to do.

The officer suggested we file a No Contact Order with the Clerk of Court, which I picked up yesterday afternoon and filled out one for myself but thought it might be better to also one for my daughter as well?

After we moved back to our small town, from NYC at the beginning of COVID, due to the constant harassment from my former in-laws and SIL (Linny), which was a daily occurrence. Not from just them, but they recruited some flying monkeys too. I tried to get a Domestic Violence Protective Order against all three of them as we met the criteria. The initial judge immediately saw the issue and granted the order, but when time came for all of us to appear in court, I wasn’t able to retain an attorney as the one I had on retainer had retired. I had to represent myself and was a nervous wreck and the judge (a different judge) threw out the case citing jurisdiction issues. It was a mess.

I don’t know what to do and I don’t feel safe. My landlords are great people and want to help. They are unfamiliar with this process so do should they file a No Trespass Complaint?

Linny left an envelope in my mailbox addressed to my daughter, saying she stopped by because she loved my daughter and wanted to say hi, plus there’s money in there for her. I am incensed. After all of this, the order from the appellate court stating these people should not have any access to my daughter as it’s not in her best interest because of the violence against me (they hired someone to break into my apartment in NYC and assault me in the middle of the night), the doxxing, swatting, using child services as a weapon of harassment, trying to report me to Department of Education for educational neglect which the DOE told them to leave me alone as my daughter is ahead in her studies. I was not addressed on this envelope, not a “Hi Harvey-Keck, I wanted to try to amend things, even though I was illegally spying on you, again.”

They have zero respect for me and are doing this to aggravate me, go around me for access to my daughter. My daughter is beyond disgusted by them and wants nothing to do with them.

Does anyone have any kind words of support or suggestions? This has been happening since 2015, 3/4 of my daughter’s life has had this madness occurring. I am so frazzled, I apologize for the long post. There’s so much more and I had to add what I’ve added so you all can get an idea to the severity of this. It never stops. How can I get this to stop?
