Fl: Threatened With Losing Custody Unless I Check Into A Mental Hospital

I’m in Florida and need advice. My stepfather recently told me that if I don’t check myself into a mental health facility and I leave the state with my daughter, he will try to take custody of her.
Some context: I am her biological mother. I provide her daily care, take her to doctor’s appointments, feed her, and meet all her needs. There are no court orders currently limiting my custody or requiring me to stay in the state. My stepfather and my mother have made these threats, but I have no reason to believe my daughter is unsafe with me.
I’m feeling very overwhelmed and unsure about what legal steps I should take to protect myself and my daughter. I also want to understand:
1. What rights do step-parents have in Florida regarding custody or visitation if the biological parent objects? 2. Do I have to stay in Florida if a custody case is filed? 3. Are there free or low-cost legal resources for someone in my situation?
Any guidance or resources would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Location: Florida
