Federal Firefighter Fired 5 Days Before Probation Ended Due To Trump Executive Order, Two Federal Judges Ruled It Illegal. What Possible Steps To Take?

Location: federal texas base

So was in army as a firefighter for five years, then became DOD firefighter. so total of almost 6 years between army/federal. The trump EO "strengthening probationary fields" was contested and deemed illegal 2 or 3 times by 2 federal judges. So with the directive from OPM being ruled as illegal, is there any step i can take besides appealing state rep/senator?

person who fired me has a longstanding dislike of me for being gay, me and my coworker were the only two openly gay firefighters. both hired the same day, then fired 360 days later for the exact same reasoning. Which im trying not to be biased but that seems like a very peculiar coincidence to for two people who were hired the same day, both happen to be gay, and both fire for the same exact "cause" which the reasoning has been changed several times depending on who asked the person. Coworkers have also been threatened with unpaid leave when they asked why we were fired. we both had satisfactory rating on our appraisals (the firing individual signed off on them) and never had any write ups. We were fired 5 days before our 1 year probation ended, without going into too much detail it appears to be a calculated move and a misuse of power as this individual who fired us isnt by regulation allowed to fire people. The EO gave a very broad grey area of power, though with it being ruled as unlawful in terms of not being able to give OPM directives to fire probationary positions. There is a pattern of abuse by the main person responsible who admitted in an email that he made the decision, which from what i've read is a violation of MSPB. Our head Chief and deputy chief were not involved in the firing. I was refused union rep and brought into a room under the guise of it being about "just a talk"
