Employer Cut My Pay To Minimum Wage After I'd Quit.

Location: Wisconsin

I worked at a nursing home in Wisconsin for about a month. I left without notice due to a bunch of things I was uncomfortable with and didn't really explain much due to me feeling uncomfortable with my situation. Ex: They made us clean up toilets with just our hands and flushable wipes.

After I let my boss know I quit, she said my pay would be reduced to minimum wage and I'd be charged for both classes I'd taken and a TB required for the job. Is any of this legal? They charged me a total of 315$ total for all of that and after cutting me to minimum wage, my last paycheck barely grazed 20$.

They said they made us sign papers saying this was okay in orientation. I have no copies of this, so I have no verification if this happened, nor do I remember signing any papers that said this, and I did my best to read all the papers they made me sign. It says nowhere in their handbook either that they change the pay to minimum wage after quitting without notice.

Is any of this legal?
