Criminal Cross Site?

Location: Massachusetts

This is my first time posting, so I am sorry if I am misusing anything.

I was isolated by a much older guy. He would push me to drink until I pass out. He would go through my phone and message/delete/block anyone that had a guy’s name. He would threaten them. He would do various others things to me when I’m passed out too. I tolerated it for years because he helped me out a couple of times and owes me money.

The major incident… I woke up and I wanted to leave but the guy woke up and wouldn’t give me my phone. I ran away from him but he caught up to me in the elevator. He grabbed me and yelled at me to let him drive me home but I wanted to get away from him. I eventually called police after giving him multiple warnings. He got arrested… I got a restraining order but he violated it many times.

Now the victim advocate told me that his lawyer retrieved the elevator cam and I was the one who attacked him…

This case was moved from one court house to another. I have reported him many times too… I have other court cases with him.. Now this case type is “criminal cross site”.

Can anyone explain what that means? Should I hire a lawyer? Any advice would help.
