Children Are (allegedly) Being Physically Abused In An Early Childhood Education School I Was Formerly Employed By.

[Location: Colorado USA] For protections of the current people employed, i will only be able to say the state this is happening in. they have threatened retaliation, and while i know that’s illegal, the people employed there cannot do anything and i do not want the sources i have to get in trouble.

I formerly worked for an Early Childhood Education center owned by a large corporation. i quit that job after health issues arised and i was unable to work with reasonable accommodation. I still talk with two former colleagues of mine, and one of them told me there is another mutual colleague of ours that is hitting the children there.

important details: 1. these children are under the age of 2. 2. the children in her classroom are frightened of her and will flinch when they see her and/or tell her to leave them alone/“don’t touch me”. 3. the company authorized erasure of evidence and refuses to work with law enforcement. the employee still works there and others have been instructed to “say nothing or else you’re fired.” 4. the evidence erased is all camera footage that is now lost. i have not seen the camera footage as i do not work there. 5. all employees at the center are mandated reporters and are being prohibited from making a report.

i do not know what i can do in this situation. CPS and police have been there but evidence is erased before they enter and i don’t know what/how to report that.
