Can My Ex Call Cps On Me For Not Letting Him Inspect My Apartment/other Questions

My husband and I are going through a separation right now, and his new favorite tool to use against me has been threatening to call CPS on me nonstop over our 1 year old son. I have no concerns about CPS, I take very, very good care of my son and my ex has only ever changed his diapers.. maybe 7 times since he was born? I have been trying my best to be mature and respectful with my ex, I don't want to get into a custody battle if not necessary. He, however, will not stop berating me for any little reason, calling me a bad mother and threatening to call CPS on me. I am going to move into a new apartment this week, and he says he needs to see it to "make sure I'm not living with anyone else." I know he doesn't have the right to enter without my permission, honestly, I don't mind letting him see it, but he said if I don't then he will call CPS. I guess I'm just looking for legal advice in general, is it better to just take it to court and not deal with this stuff? Would CPS even care about this? What other steps should I take?
