Bouncer Attacked Me Outside Of A Bar

Location: Ontario, Canada

I was at a bar celebrating my friends birthday when 2 girls walk past me in crowd and push me out of their way. I told them to chill and that there’s no need to push, but it got quickly out of hand with the 2 girls yelling at me and both of them hit me in my face. I did not put my hands on anyone whatsoever, but ended up getting kicked out because of the commotion, which is fine. I decided to just go home, but then immediately after I walked out of the bar I see the 2 girls in the smokers line meaning they didn’t get kicked out, so I was upset and yelled at them and the bouncers from the sidewalk. Again, this was on the sidewalk and I was not touching anybody, just complaining loudly.

Next thing I know I get grabbed and thrown by 2 bouncer on the public sidewalk, kicked in the stomach, choked, and had his hands up after I got up like he was ready to fight me. It ended with a worker grabbing me trying to break up the situation. This whole time I didn’t start any physical problems or anything that should’ve got it to that point with any bouncer. I was okay to leave after getting kicked out and was not upset about that just upset that the 2 girls who hit me and began the problem were not being kicked out. My girlfriend was also slammed on the floor by one of the bouncers that attacked me and she had her dress lifted and embarrassed in front of everyone waiting in line. We both have scratches on our bodies as well.

I had called the police right after that and they questioned the bouncers and my girlfriend & I. They told us we can press charges in the morning when we are thinking clearly which I figured is a good idea as I was still a bit intoxicated and wanted to make sure I wanted to go this route.

I was recording them after as well and a worker came and started blocking me by putting his back in front of me, kept following me while doing that too.

My question is what do I do from here? Is it worth it to press charges against the bouncers? We have a couple of videos of what happened outside but not a video of the fight. The only thing seen in the video is my girlfriend on the floor after being slammed and myself being held by a bouncer. I have never had something like this happen before

Edit: To add, there was also several witnesses as this all happened outside on the sidewalk where the line up is. People were recording it, my girlfriend is also worried that her body parts were exposed in the videos.
