Boss Fired Me And Hasn't Paid Me 2 Paychecks, Said She Would Give Them To Me Tomorrow. Mostly Looking For Places To Report The Restaurant To/see If This Is Worse Than I Thought

As soon as I got home from college my grandma asked her friend if she still needed cooks for her bar and grill. She said yes and the interview i was told about was actually her hiring me, weird but ok, pay is shit but i can find a better job, I download Sling and the link she sent me for toast payroll didn't work and she can't send me another one because toast won't let her, and to send another link she needs to call toast corporate, she says. so now I can't see any of my pay information, fill out tax forms or have automatic deposit. Couple of weeks go by and I havent gotten paid at all and she hasnt gotten the link resent. More time goes by and she eventually pays me with a check, I think that the amount is low and later ask my mom who is an account about it. Theres no details on the check for how many hours I worked or anything like that so we can only guess if its right. 3 weeks later (I think) and I havent been scheduled for the 2nd week in a row and I ask if this is her way of letting me go (I only work 2 days a week). She says yes and that I can pick up my check. I worked in total just a little over a month.

I pick up my check and its very low. Its very obvious that this is not my check for all of my hours. My mom and I do math with my estimated hours and we figure out that this check is for 1 day. I text her that im still owned money, and she brushes me off and tells me to "just look in sling", Theres nothing there, its a scheduling app, I eventually look in toast and for the first time am finally able to look in toast payroll.

All of my hours and stuff is in there, There are 4 paychecks, but I have only gotten 2. I have not received my 1st and 3rd paycheck. Now that I finally know how much im owed I text her with some attitude about her behavior and how she still owes me money. She never texts back, 4 days later now that my mom and I are free and the place is open we go in there and talk to her. Because my mom is an accountant she ends up doing all the talking. She says that shes super busy cuz shes a small buissness owner and can't pay me now because she needs to look in toast but will get it to me tomorrow. I think thats bullshit and she can go on her computer or phone now and pay me but I don't say anything.

I half think that she was only doing this to me and she might've intended to never pay me, how do you only give someone their 2nd and 4th check? Every time I spoke to her about resending the toast link or about anything really she would brush me off. When my mom and I went to talk to her and we only brought up my paycheck she argued about things that wernt related but related to me. She's trying to get away from paying me. I think she's gonna have to close the restaurant for unrelated reasons but I just want to report her to somewhere, get that ball moving a little faster, get something attached to her or something. If theres anything more I should do let me know. I'll edit this post with an update tomorrow if she pays me, which im half expecting her not to.
