Attorney Lied During Deposition.

Location: Ohio

Silly neighbor dispute. Their attorney scheduled depositions. Attorney states during depositions that they have spoken to both of my next door neighbors and Attorney tells me what statements had been made. I speak to both neighbors and both state they have never spoken to any attorney, their associates, no contact, no correspondence.

I ask for discovery documents from the attorney. No witnesses statements have been included. Ive been In contact with judge’s clerk and they have been in contact with the attorney. Clerk said they would look into it. I called back 10 days later and the clerk seemed surprised the attorney has still not sent me those documents. Mediation is around the corner and still no response or documents.

I believe my neighbors when they both have said they have no idea what’s going on. It appears the attorney has completely made up witnesses statements…which explains why I’m not getting the statements. Seems to me this attorney has painted themselves in a corner. I can’t imagine the judge is happy about this. Any ideas where this is heading?

I’m representing my myself in this matter.
