Any Advice In Dealing With My Step Father/boss/landlord?

1st question I started working for my step father in 2016 doing construction in Texas, I didn’t realize that he would not be taking taxes out of my checks until almost a year down the road. Then he tells me that I will be a 1099. He has not filed taxes for the business since 2011 so I don’t have any 1099’s to file. Even if I did file I have no way to pay the taxes with what I make working for him(200$ a day), and my wife doesn’t work because she recently found out she was pregnant. Anytime I bring anything up about it he just instantly becomes defensive and starts acting like I should have filed if I wanted to file. During the winter we don’t have a lot of work so most of the money I manage to save through the year gets used up. What do I need to do at this point?

2nd question I moved on to 2 acres of my mothers and step fathers 16 acres in October of 2020. I have a tiny house, a few vehicles and trailers, and a carport. I installed electricity, septic, and ran water from their well down to my property. If I stop working for him he is not going to let me live here. I have my own address for the electric company and a permit for the septic tank. My name is not on the deed to the land. Can he still kick me off the property? I fenced the 2 acres also, do I have no options on keeping the property?
