[us-pa] Help Pls! “slum Lord” Not Replacing Fridge.

Hello legal Reddit! I am having a very difficult time with the people I rent from and need help.

TI;Dr - "Slum lords" doing next to nothing to replace fridge that is included in lease. Fridge has been out for about 2 months and I am paying for a rental fridge out of my own pocket.

Around the middle to end of August our fridge went out. It just completely stopped working. Our tood went bad etc. wasn't a very tun time. When it started going I put in a maintenance request. The request was put in August 24th to be exact. The next week after that they had sent someone to look at it and at that point we had found out that basically it's done and there's nothing to be done. After this they had told us they were going to let the landlord know that we needed a new fridge and that was that.

At that point we had rented a fridge just to keep food around the house for us. Well, as of now it's October 14th and we still have not gotten a new fridge. It's almost getting to the 2 month mark and it's getting a little ridiculous at this point. We had emailed them after about a month of not hearing anything and we didn't hear anything back. I then called them about a week or two ago because my patience is running a tad thin here and they basically had told me, "all I can do is tell the landlord again." After that I had asked for them to just communicate with us just so we know what's happening. Since then I haven't heard a thing.

Now I will say I rent with "slum lords", even on their reviews online it says basically around the same things, how people reach out and nothing is necessarily done about issues. Just a short example someone had left a review of one of their appliances going out and they were still calling about replacements 9 months later.

I have had multiple issues with our renting company with other repairs as well. Those being plumbing leak/ fixing the hole from fixing the plumbing, mold in the bathroom because there is no fan (ongoing issue, they refuse to fix it, said just wipe it down with bleach), and even more things.

At this point I don't know what to do, but I really don't want to keep paying for a rental fridge especially when they aren't taking what we are paying out of the rent since the fridge is included in the lease. We already know we aren't renewing our lease, but it's just getting through the last few months that's tough.

Could someone please point me in the right direction of maybe what my rights are in this situation? Any words/advice are greatly appreciated.
