[oh] Traffic Ticket Did Not Have “personal Appearance Required” Checked But Online Docket Says “declaration Of Forfeiture”

Location: Ohio, USA. I got a traffic ticket a couple weeks ago. It’s for “331.19 [MM] RIGHT OF WAY AT STOP SIGNS.” I failed to yield at a stop sign and got in an accident (didn’t see a car coming when turning onto a street). I got a ticket for it and it doesn’t have the box checked that says a personal appearance is required and the ticketing officer told me as much. My court date was Monday (6/16). The county has the option to pay the ticket online. I went online to pay the ticket before the court date and it had a the info and a ticket amount but it told me payment wouldn’t be accepted until a sentence was given. I didn’t want to miss work so I didn’t go to court and waited until after the court date to go pay again but now the online docket says “DECLARATION OF FORFEITURE; DEFENDANT FAILED TO APPEAR.” Additionally it says “DISPOSITION FORM FILED” after that. It still won’t let me pay my fees without a sentence. Everything I read about this seems to imply that my license is going to be suspended. I got no additional info about the case outside of my ticket. The clerk of courts office isn’t picking up the phone. What exactly does this mean? I thought I was doing everything right and I was watching the county portal for the sentence so I could pay the fees as soon as I could.
