Raleigh, N.C., real estate team leader Gretchen Coley has launched Best of Raleigh, an online lifestyle platform designed to highlight businesses, experiences and community stories from the region.

Coley — founder of Compass’s The Coley Group and host of the Best of Raleigh podcast — said the platform expands on her work in real estate by connecting residents and newcomers to trusted local resources.

“Raleigh has always been more than where I live, it’s the community that raised my family, built my business, and inspired me to connect more deeply with the people and places that make this city extraordinary,” Coley said. “This platform is about celebrating what makes Raleigh great and helping others discover, thrive and live more fully here.”

The Coley Group recorded just over $214 million across 313 transactions in 2024, according to RealTrends Verified. That was enough to earn the No. 1 large real estate team ranking in Raleigh for annual sales volume and sides.

Best of Raleigh will feature recommendations on dining, wellness, design and cultural events, along with profiles of local businesses and community members.

“Today’s real estate agent is no longer just helping clients buy or sell a home, we’re curators of lifestyle and, in many ways, luxury concierges,” Coley said. “Today’s consumer doesn’t simply want a property, they want a lifestyle. They’re looking for trusted access to the best dining, shopping, wellness, culture, service providers and local businesses.

“Best of Raleigh is a natural extension of my role as an agent, giving my clients a platform where they can connect with reputable sources while also providing the opportunity for local businesses to showcase the best that our community has to offer.”

Coley has worked in Raleigh real estate for more than 25 years.

She said the Best of Raleigh project grew out of investments in video and storytelling during the COVID-19 pandemic — when her group sought new ways to engage with clients and the community.

“At Best of Raleigh, we’re committed to elevating the living experience of our community,” Coley said. “Whether you’re here to partner with us, explore new resources, or simply be inspired, we want to connect you with the very best of what Raleigh has to offer.”
