Maxhome.ai Raises $5 Million To Streamline Real Estate Transactions

MaxHome.AI, a technology startup aiming to reduce the administrative burden on real estate agents, announced it has raised $5 million in seed funding.

The round was led by Fika Ventures with participation from BBG Ventures, 1Sharpe Ventures and Four Acres Capital — bringing the company’s total funding to $7 million.

The company was founded by Divya Aathresh, who previously led the real estate business at Better.com.

She said the idea for MaxHome.AI came from observing the operational challenges of running a brokerage and from speaking with agents about the strain of back-office workflows.

“By building an AI-native system tailored to the complexities of real estate, we’re not just improving efficiency,” Aathresh said. “We’re creating the infrastructure that allows agents and brokerages to thrive in a market that demands speed, accuracy, and trust.”

The platform focuses on automating tasks such as document management, compliance and transaction coordination — areas that often require hundreds of pages of paperwork and repeated exchanges among buyers, sellers and lenders.

“MaxHome has eliminated the friction in our transaction process that we didn’t even realize was solvable,” said Wendi Iglesias, CIO of The Keyes Company, one of the brokerages using the system. “The impact on our operations has been immediate and meaningful.”

Some of the largest brokerages in the country — including affiliates of Berkshire Hathaway and Coldwell Banker — have adopted the platform alongside independents such as The Keyes Company.

John Chen, general partner at Fika Ventures, said the firm backed MaxHome.AI because of its focus on core industry problems.

“We believe MaxHome.AI is building foundational infrastructure for modern brokerages,” Chen said. “Deep domain expertise and founder-market fit are critical for us when backing a company — and in MaxHome.AI’s case, both were undeniable. That edge has enabled them to build AI copilots that are deeply embedded, incredibly useful, and already delivering real ROI.”
